Three has released the fastest mobile Wi-Fi unit on the market. The new high-speed Huawei E586 MiFi is available on Three pay as you go or monthly contract plans.
The new 3G mobile WiFi dongle is capable of providing high-speed mobile broadband to iPads, laptops and handheld games consoles, with a much faster and more reliable 3G mobile internet connection than previous Mi-Fi units. With an information display that shows key information like data used, length of browsing time and speed of connection, the new HSPA+ MiFi device also allows users to display their Wi-Fi username and is capable of pairing with devices much more quickly.
David Kerrigan, head of mobile broadband at Three said: “As the network operator leading the way with a nationwide HSPA+ network upgrade, we’re delighted to be bringing the first mobile Wi-Fi device with HSPA+ technology to the UK. As shown by USwitch’s speed test results announced today, people will be able to enjoy speeds of up to 5.9Mb , allowing faster downloads, seamless browsing and an all-round improved experience.”
